Abstract

The objective of this research is to develop strategies for agro tourism development of Na Khao Sia, Na Yong, Trang, to become a sustainable agro tourism. The research tools included 1) participatory observation, 2) data collection from a questionnaire of 214 tourists, and 3) focus group discussion among 13 key performances including government and community sectors for SWOT analysis. Data from all evaluations were integrated and established the strategy. The study's findings revealed that the prominent features of the Na Khao Sia tourism site included beautiful scenery, good weather, and an abundance of natural resources for the community's benefit. The use of natural resources creates favorable conditions for sustainable agro tourism. According to the tourist opinions, the value potential of the agro tourism site of Na Khao Sia was at a high level, whereas its potential as an agro tourism attraction was at a moderate level. The strategies for sustainable agrotourism development in Na Khao Sia should prioritize marketing promotion through social media storytelling about the tourism site's identity and scenery.  Furthermore, all sectors should be involved in the development of farmer skills in creating and improving products, as well as the management of natural resources, infrastructure, and other tourist facilities for the creation of tourist attractions. These strategies will result in long-term agricultural tourism.
