Factors relating to Satisfaction of Volunteer Soil Doctors on the Operation of Land Development Station in Samutprakarn Province.

Abstract

 .This research was to investigate 1) demographic of Volunteer Soil Doctors (VSDs) in
Samutprakarn province 2) media exposure and trustable of VSDs to type of media 3) satisfaction to
the operation of Land Development Station (LDS) 4) the relation between demographic of VSDs with

satisfaction to the operation of LDS 5) the relation between trustable of media with satisfaction to
the operation of LDS. Population were 235 No. of VSDs in Samutprakarn province and sample were 151
No. of VSDs that selected by stratified random sampling techniques, collected data by using questionnaire,
analyzed data by using frequency, percentage, mean, maximum, minimum, standard deviation and
testing hypothesis by using Pearson product moment correlation coefficient. The results revealed that 1)
most of VSDs were female, average age at 49.77 years old, working years of VSDs were at 15-23 years
2) most of VSDs exposed to all type of media, trustable at high level to personal media, mass media,
activity media, and social media and at moderate level to printed media 3) VSDs satisfied on the operation
of LDS at moderate level by the average ( = 3.35) , and at high level on operation plan of LDS ( = 3.47)
4) working years of VSDs were related to satisfied on the operation of LDS 5) trustable to media exposure
at the whole were not related to satisfy on the operation of LDS, but as the details found that trustable
to printed media were related at the opposite site to place and person; trustable to activity media were
related to plant productions and material, technology transfer in soil using and development, place and
persons also; trustable to mass media were related to technology transfer in soil using and development,
place and persons.
