Suitable Factors for Establishing Isozyme Patterns in Thai Lady’s Slipper (<I>Paphiopedilum </I>Pfitzer)

Abstract
A series of study to find suitable factors for establishing isozyme patterns in 10 Thai Paphiopedilum and 1 natural hybrid showed that 0.5 gram young leaf fresh weight, 0.1 M Tris-HCl pH 7, 1 mM EDTA, 1 % w/v PVP-360, 2 mM DTT, 10 mM β-mercaptoethanol and 11% separating gel are most suitable for polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis (PAGE).
