ผลของความเครียดต่อโปรเจสเตอโรนและฮอร์โมนลูทีไนซิ่งในระบบสืบพันธุ์เพศเมีย

บทคัดย่อ
ความเครียดรบกวนการทำหน้าที่ปกติของโปรเจนสเตอโรน และฮอร์โมนลูทีไนซิ่งผ่านทางการทำงานของฮอร์โมนที่หลั่งจากกระบวนการตอบสนองของร่างกายต่อความเครียด ซึ่งได้แก่ Adrenocorticotropin (ACTH) และกลูโคคอร์ติคอย ฮอร์โมนดังกล่าวยับยั้งการหลั่ง LH มีผลต่อการตกไข่และการพัฒนาของคอร์ปัสลูเทียม นอกจากนี้ยังลดการผลิตโปรเจสเตอโรนจากรังไข่แต่เพิ่มการผลิตจากต่อม หมวกไต ทำให้ระดับโปรเจสเตอโรนปรวนแปรไม่เหมาะสมต่อการทำงานปกติในช่วงเวลาต่างๆ ของระบบสืบพันธุ์เหล่านี้ทำให้ประสิทธิภาพระบบสืบพันธุ์ลดลง ซึ่งแสดงออกในรูปแบบต่างๆ เช่น อัตราการผสมติดต่ำอัตราการตายของตัวอ่อนสูง และจำนวนสัตว์ที่มีปัญหาของระบบสืบพันธุ์เพิ่มขึ้น
