Khai Nao Nan 1 and Khai Nao Nan 2 pumpkin varieties are varieties that are currently being registered as local native plant varieties according to the Plant Variety Protection Act of 1999. The objective of this experiment was, therefore, to evaluate two varieties of Khai Nao Nan, Khai Nao Nan 1 and 2, along with one Khai Nao and two standard varieties. A randomized complete block (RCB) trial was planned for 3 replicates, 2 crops, in the same experimental plot. The combined analysis in RCB was used to analyze the combined variance of 2 growing seasons: the rainy season from July to October 2022 and the dry season from December 2022 to April 2023 at Nan Province, in the original experimental plot. Homogeneous analysis of variance indicated that all characteristics studied were homogeneous, except for the diameter of the fruit, total solid content, total soluble solids of cooked flesh firmness of fresh flesh and color values L*, a* and b* of fresh and cooked flesh. Yield per rai in the dry season tended to be higher than that of the rainy season, equal to 1.6 and 1.1 tons, due to the outbreak of viral diseases. The Khai Nao Nan 1 and Khai Nao Nan 2 varieties gave higher yields per rai in the rainy season than other varieties, more than or equal to 1.1 tons, and more than or equal to 2.1 tons in the dry season. The components of yield and quality in all traits showed that the dry season gave higher values than the rainy season, except for the color traits L* and a* of raw and cooked flesh. The Khai Nao Nan 2 and Khai Nao Nan varieties gave the total solid content values in the rainy and dry seasons more than or equal to 18.9 and 20.0 percent, respectively. The Khai Nao Nan 1 and Khai Nao Nan 2 varieties had the total soluble solids of raw flesh in the dry season more than or equal to 16.0 percent. The varieties Khai Nao Nan 1, Khai Nao Nan 2 and Khai Nao had lower raw flesh color brightness L* than other varieties. The a* color value showed that the varieties Khai Nao Nan 1, Khai Nao Nan 2 and Khai Nao had higher red color than other varieties. The b* color value showed that in the rainy season, the varieties Khai Nao Nan 1 and Khai Nao Nan 2 tended to have less yellow color than other varieties, while in the dry season, the values were similar.
