Abstract

The Journal of Research and Academic Promotion in Agriculture, Volume 42, Issue 3 (September–December 2025), marks the final issue of the year 2025. Once again, a year has come to an end. The latter part of this year has differed from previous years in many respects, particularly in terms of climatic conditions, which have led to severe flooding crises—from several areas in Ayutthaya to Hat Yai. Changes in climate resulting from global warming and the La Niña phenomenon have caused abnormal natural events toward the end of the year. Storm “Kalmaegi” resulted in flooding across more than nine provinces in southern Thailand, representing another major flood disaster that caused enormous loss of life and property. Agricultural areas in many regions were inevitably affected. The Journal extends its heartfelt support to all sectors in overcoming these crises, learning from past experiences, and remaining vigilant in order to develop the most effective disaster prevention measures for the future.

In this issue, readers will find research articles and academic papers addressing a wide range of topics that respond to the needs of agricultural society. These include crop production, food industry, agricultural extension, agricultural economics, forestry and the environment, as well as other related research areas.

The Journal hopes that readers will benefit, to some extent, from the knowledge presented, serving as a platform for the promotion and exchange of knowledge to collectively advance Thai agriculture and enable it to keep pace with ongoing changes. On the auspicious occasion of the New Year 2026 (B.E. 2569), I, together with the editorial board of the Journal of Research and Academic Promotion in Agriculture, wish all readers happiness, prosperity, good health, and continued success in their professional endeavors. May Thai agriculture flourish alongside sustainable development. We look forward to meeting you again in the next issue in 2026.
