Production Planning of Farmer Cavendish Banana Vang Luang Community Enterprise, Fai Rai District, Nong Khai Province
Keywords:

In this study, the researcher realized the importance of the production planning through the allocation of available resources. Under the constraint conditions, it is effective to plan the banana production together with other plants in the same production area in order to maximize the profit. The focused on 45 farmers, who are the member from the KlauyHom Thong Wang Luang (banana) community enterprise that changed the distribution of domestic production to international exportation. The data were analyzed by using the Solver program in Microsoft Excel 2010. It was found that the members were able to grow 15.91 rais of banana and marigold: divided into 12.64 rais for Klauy Hom Thong plantation and 3.27 rais of Calendula. Only 151.71 hours of working time, the participants had some spare hours that could be spent on other activities. However, the operating capital for the production of the existing crops was an average of 214,184.60 Baht per household that was spent under a limited operate capital. Therefore, the relevant government sectors should promote the expansion of banana and marigold production areas in order to achieve a consistent output.
