Maejo Journal of Agricultural Production (mJAP) is published by the Faculty of Agricultural Production, Maejo University, Chiang Mai, Thailand. The journal aims to disseminate research findings in agriculture and related fields, including agricultural innovations and technologies. It accepts manuscripts in various formats, including Full-length Research Articles, Short Communications, and Review Articles. Submitted manuscripts must not have been previously published or be under consideration for publication elsewhere.

     The journal accepts manuscripts written in either Thai or English from students, faculty members, researchers, and academics both within and outside the institution. An article Processing Fee (APF) of 3,500 THB is required, The Journal will notify authors to pay the processing fee prior to submitting the manuscript for review. The Journal reserves the right not to refund the processing fee under any circumstances. This processing fee is not related in any way to the evaluation of the manuscript’s quality or its acceptance for publication, and it is solely the responsibility of the authors. All submitted manuscripts undergo a peer-review process conducted by three qualified reviewers in the relevant field from different institutions. The review and decision process takes approximately 120 days (Manuscript Processing Flowchart). The opinions expressed in the articles are those of the authors. The editorial team is not required to agree with such opinions, and they do not represent the responsibility of the Faculty of Agricultural Production, Maejo University. Responsibility for the content rests solely with the authors. Any reproduction or use of images, tables, or any part of the published content for commercial purposes must receive prior permission from the Journal or explicit consent from the editorial board in every case.

The Journal is published three issues per year as follows

September to December

     The first issue of the Journal was published in April 2019 (Volume 1, Issue 1). All published articles are freely accessible to readers at no cost (Open Access).
