Wichcha Journal Nakhon Si Thammarat Rajabhat University was established in 1981 to serve as a platform for disseminating scholarly works. The journal publishes research articles and academic articles in English from faculty members, researchers, staff, and students from within and outside the university. The scope of the journal covers Science and Technology, including Physical Sciences, Biological Sciences, and Applied Sciences.
All submitted manuscripts must be original works that have not been previously published and are not under consideration for publication elsewhere. Each manuscript undergoes a rigorous peer-review process by at least two independent reviewers with expertise in the relevant field. The review process follows a double-blind peer review system, in which the identities of both authors and reviewers are concealed to ensure an objective and unbiased evaluation.
The journal is published by the Research and Development Institute, Nakhon Si Thammarat Rajabhat University. It is issued twice a year, with Issue 1 (January - June) and Issue 2 (July - December). The journal does not charge any submission or publication fees at any stage of the publication process.

Wichcha Journal, Nakhon Si Thammarat Rajabhat University, has been officially recognized as a Tier 1 journal in the Thai-Journal Citation Index (TCI) database as a result of the 5th TCI Journal Quality Evaluation (Second Evaluation Round, 2026-2029) conducted by the Thai-Journal Citation Index Centre (TCI). The journal's Tier 1 recognition is effective for the four-year evaluation period from 1 January 2026 through 31 December 2029.
